Who can become a CCV Island Contributor?
Any islander who creates, hosts, or shares something local can apply - cooks, bakers, hairstylists, crafters, farmers, tour guides, bartenders, wellness practitioners, artists, teachers and storytellers. Application is free and CCV approves contributors to keep the network high quality.
Is it really free to join?
Yes. Individual Island Contributors join free during CCV's growth phase - there are no membership fees. The platform is funded by commercial partners such as larger businesses, tourism boards and sponsors, not by individual contributors.
What can I showcase as a contributor?
Your skill, craft, food, stay, tour, event or service. Every approved contributor gets a public Island Showcase page and a pin on their island's discovery map, so visitors and residents can find and contact them directly.
How does becoming a contributor help me make money?
CCV puts you in front of people actively searching your island. That drives profile views, website clicks, booking enquiries and direct leads - so you can monetize your passion, fill bookings and sell more of what you make or do.
Do I need a registered business to join?
No. Individual makers and informal local talent are the heart of the contributor network and are welcome to apply. Registered businesses can also get listed through the List Your Business option.
How long does approval take?
A CCV director reviews every application personally and reaches out within 5 business days. There are no fees to apply.
